Visual identity for Atlas, a wine bar located in Chapinero, Bogotá. An effortless and comfortable neighborhood bar, the visual identity is designed around an image collection that expands the space itself, exploring different cartographic narratives. We call these “circular cartographies,” and they are the core of the identity. They vary in scale, shape, place, and time, amplifying the possibilities for the brand’s expression. The color palette explores contrast and vibrancy, using monotones and duotones with interesting combinations of colors we found to be “uncomfortable.” Atlas is a local bar, but it’s not limited exclusively to its locality—it uses location as a local amplifier.
